Established as a classic meets contemporary Barbershop in 2010 the shop was named Good Folks Barbers as a reflection of the supportive and friendly client base built up over our years at the shop.
Behind the Chair
Barber Kev
After starting his career in early 2004 and gaining qualifications and experience in Brighton, Oxford and London, Kev fulfilled his ambition of moving to St Ives and opening his own Barbers in 2010. Providing precise and attentive haircuts, beard shaping and traditional cut throat shaves he also has a keen interest in retro curios and is most content when kicking back and practicing Chicago blues Harmonica licks…
Barber Julian
Julian brings over twenty years experience to the table, in all aspects of Hairdressing. Having previously owned his own salon, before taking a break to gain a degree, he had a client base that included none other than the original OB1 Kinobe Sir Alec Guinness! He can also be found in the surf on a good day and has some fantastic stories from the 80’s.
